Our young color theorists are exploring the incredible world of color mixing! In our last class we learned all about the color wheel.
Today, we applied our knowledge to start mixing colors! Using the three primary colors and white, each young artist made 3 different colors on 3 sheets of paper. We will be using these in our next class as part of another community art project.
After they finished, they were able to experiment with using what they learned about color mixing to make a larger painting. Many of our students decided to use what they learned to practice making a rainbow. Click through the slideshow to see some of their amazing process-based exploration!
